Full house on Wednesday 16 October at the hospital cyber security day organised by the Agence du Numérique (AdN) and the Belgian Cyber Security Coalition in Mons.
Stanislas Van Oost had the opportunity to participate, as an NIS2 expert, in a panel dedicated to the approach of hospitals in relation to compliance with the NIS2 law. The Panel was moderated by Sabrina Cristofano and was composed of Kurt Gielen, IT Director of the Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg, Alexandru Pelin, CISO of the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc and Bastien Ducarme, Security Advisor at the Centre Hospitalier Régional Sambre et Meuse.
Discussions focused on the choice of framework, the state of play, the challenges related to NIS2 implementation and certification, and IT incident preparedness.
Subsequently, Stanislas Van Oost led an interactive workshop on the implementation of NIS2 with the various actors responsible for cybersecurity in the world of health. The workshop made it possible to exchange, firstly, on the various requirements of the law, in particular in the definition of the perimeter and the exchange focused on the modalities to be undertaken in the immediate future and, finally, on the creation of an implementation roadmap.
A very nice day with many speakers including Christophe Hohl from Cyber Security Management, Maxime Lamarche from Easi, Stéphane Odent from CHU Saint-Pierre and Ellen Stassart from CCB, under the control and organisation of Jérémy Grandclaudon, Nina Hasratyan from AdN and Pascal Champagne from the Belgian Cyber Security Coalition.
